What is new about the Artemis Sandal?
The new Artemis Sandal is very similar to our Athena Sandal, but has a toe strap, making it more secure. We know our OESHers live active and adventurous lives, and we wanted to acknowledge that by making a shoe that will stay with you no matter what. Artemis Sandals are great for summer hikes, river sports like kayaking and canoeing, and everyday adventuring. We chose the softest and strongest straps we could find for maximum comfort between your toes.
How are the Artemis and the Athena Similar?
The Artemis Sandals have very similar 3D printed soles to the Athena Sandals with internal hexagonal springs for the best compliance. Like all OESH shoes, the Artemis Sandals are flat in all directions to limit any additional forces from traveling up from your feet into your knees, hips, or lower back, based on OESH founder Casey Kerrigan’s research. With the same single pull strap buckle, both the Artemis and the Athena Sandals are a breeze to get on and off and adjust for a perfect fit.
