Yesterday morning, our local public radio station WVTF aired a wonderful story about OESH on NPR. Sandy Hausman visited the OESH factory where she saw our new ballet flat and our wall of 3D printers making sandals. She also had a chance to talk to Casey about her journey from medical research to shoe manufacturing.
For some girls, the story of Cinderella was about that handsome prince, but for one Charlottesville woman it was always about the shoe. And this fall she’s launching footwear that promises to revolutionize the walking experience.” -Sandy Hausman, WVTF

We are very grateful for Sandy Hausman helping us share our story. Likewise, you can help us by sharing the OESH story with your communities and local news stations. The Dream Flat is the culmination of over 20 years of research and development. It is the most comfortable women’s dress shoe ever made. Designed by Harvard MD Casey Kerrigan, it is the first dress shoe that truly respects the woman’s body and foot. The springy sole featured in all OESH shoes works in sync with your body for a self-powered bounce in every step you take. In addition, the unique stretchy knit upper gently hugs your foot allowing full, active movement.
Thanks to amazing support from our backers, the campaign for the Dream Ballet Flat is already over 140% funded. After reaching our initial goal, we introduced two new colorways in addition to Essential Black, Ruby Red and Heather Grey. As we reach our stretch goals we will be able to add even more options!
If you haven’t already, check out our Dream Flat, pictured in Ruby Red with Casey above, on our Dream Indiegogo Campaign page. For questions specifically about our Indiegogo campaign, email indiegogo@oeshshoes.com.
