Stitching

Unlike the typical shoe sole that must be permanently glued to the shoe upper using toxic glues, chemicals, and dangerous machinery, the OESH 3D Printed Sole lets you simply stitch or take apart, whatever shoe upper you create!

We suggest using a 1 mm waxed thread that’s available on Amazon from numerous vendors such as the two below that sell individual spools or a variety pack of colors

This is probably the most common stitch type used to make shoes and provides a clean and secure attachment

This stitch is even easier to do and gives a different look that is especially nice with leather or suede

Instead of using a needle, you can use a crochet hook and crochet on the upper. It just requires that the holes in the material are large enough to accommodate the crochet hook. Crochet gives yet another different kind of look and is what we use for the OESH Townies and Salons!
